Prima
This is an "entry level" racing frame. This model is built with Reynolds 631 oversize tube. Reynolds 631 is 853 without the heat treatment and produces a very lively frame without any harshness in the ride quality. The frame incorporates forged dropouts and high quality fittings including a cast seat lug. The forks are Reynolds R with a cast crown or we can fit carbon fibre forks in either Ahead or conventional configuration. Braze on lever bosses, chainstay stop, 2 sets of bottle bosses and brake cable guides are all included. The Prima is designed to a range of standard sizes, however, if required they can be "made to measure" by altering top tube, seat tube or seat angle at no extra cost.

Classique
The Classique is a traditional racing style frame. Built to the highest standards of craftsmanship, with the classic horizontal top tube and lugged construction. This frame is built with Reynolds 631 oversize tube. Reynolds 631 is 853 without the heat treatment and produces a very lively frame without any harshness in the ride quality. The rear stays are Reynolds 725, a heat treated tube similar to the old 753. The Classique is also available in lugless fillet brazed construction for those who prefer the smooth look.

The Classique range of frames are all custom built so each frame is the product of an extensive design consultation with the customer allowing the frame to be tailored to the exact requirements of both riding style and type.
All the Reynolds tubes are supplied in a range of diameters and gauges thus allowing Dave to choose an appropriate tube for each area of the frame. Whilst the first preferred tube for the Classique is 631 with oversize top and down tubes Dave can build this frame from any of the Reynolds, Columbus or Dedaccai tube set you may require.
Sticking with Reynolds, the 725 heat treated tubes can usefully be used in the main triangle of a larger frame to increase torsional stiffness without adding weight or cost
Classique 853
Introduced into the Reynolds range late in 1995, 853 actually gets stronger after joining. It is available in a wide range of diameters and gauges which enables Dave to "fine tune" the frame design to the precise requirements of the rider. Based on the same component spec. and design consultation process as the Classique, the Clasiquel 853 is the ultimate in conventional lugged frames.
Classique Piste
All the Classique models are also available as track frames

Low Profile TT
The variations on the theme "Low Profile" are as legion as the tubesets available. This is simply a starting point for discussion to end up at your own individual frame.

Usually built in "Micro" style i.e. a lower top tube and steeper seat angle, with the seat stays attaching level with the top tube. Used with an extended seat pin to get the saddle at the correct height, this allows the Tri bars to be set low enough to get some adjustment for different types. Each frame is built to order so any specific requirements can be accommodated. These frames would normally be built fillet brazed with vertical rear dropouts and a cast vee brake bridge.
The tubeset can be anything from Reynolds 631 through all the Reynolds range with all its possible variations to 853 including a teardrop shaped down tube that has been re worked into a more aerodynamic shape.
The prices given here are for guidance only as each frame is unique. All the frames are priced as frame only. Dave can supply Reynolds 531 or Carbon Fibre forks in either threaded or threadless AheadSet style

The Elite features a deep section down tube, either oval or teardrop. Alternatively Dave can make it with opposed oval top and down tubes. This frame can also be built with Pro Team 853 main triangle tubes which are even lighter than the already light standard 853. This will enable Dave to produce a steel frame with all of the advantages of steel that weighs only 3.5 lbs approx (slightly lighter again with a carbon back end) for a 57cm frame. This weight is almost equal to many of the Aluminium and Titanium frames around today, but at a considerable cost saving.
Dave has built a compact version of this model into a bike weighing under 18 lbs using Carbon AheadSet forks, Columbus carbon seat stays, Dura Ace groupset and carefully selected components. If you throw more money at it, it is possible to get it even lighter (both your bike and your wallet!)
